SEATTLE (AP) — Last April the Make-A-Wish Foundation turned a 13-year-old Bellevue boy into Electron Boy, a superhero who fights the powers of evil with light.

Erik Martin wore a costume and had a police escort to the Space Needle and other places where he dispatched villains.

The big day for the boy battling liver cancer has now been turned into the Electron Boy comic book.

The Seattle Times reports a group of comic book creators put together the 10-page book and gave a copy last month to Erik. Copies are on sale for $5, which Martin’s family is donating to Make-A-Wish.
