YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — A body has been found in the Roza irrigation canal at Selah.

KNDO reports it may be a 23-year-old man who went missing Monday.

Yakima County sheriff’s deputies followed his footprints from a relative’s home to the water. The sheriff’s office says the man was intoxicated and making suicidal statements when he walked away without shoes.

The man is from Lake Stevens and had been looking for work in Yakima County.
