Burlington worker killed in forklift accident

BURLINGTON, Wash. (AP) — A worker was killed in a forklift accident at a Waste Management site in Burlington.

The accident happened Tuesday in an area where recyclable materials are loaded and unloaded.

A spokeswoman for the company told the Skagit Valley Herald that 39-year-old Kyle Willis of Burlington had worked for Waste Management for 18 years.

The Department of Labor and Industries is investigating.
