CHICAGO (AP) — The women’s basketball game between No. 21 DePaul and New Jersey Institute of Technology scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed.

DePaul school officials announced the postponement Tuesday. About two feet of snow fell on New Jersey over the weekend, preventing the Highlanders from flying to Chicago for the game.

The teams hope to make up the game later in the season, weather and schedules permitting.

The Blue Demons (13-2) will resume Big East play on Jan. 5 against Providence. NJIT (2-8) will visit Fairleigh Dickinson on Jan. 3.
