PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police say they’re responding to an officer-involved shooting in southwest Portland.

Neighbor Danette Hughes tells The Oregonian she saw a man lying in the street after she heard gunshots Monday evening. She says the man was moving.

An AMR ambulance spokesman says one man was taken to Oregon Health & Sciences University. The man’s condition was not immediately known.

Portland police spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson tells KGW-TV that no officers were hit by gunfire.

Dispatch records show police responded to a disturbance call at a home shortly after 5 p.m.
