WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) — Justin Crosgile scored 19 points as Saint Joseph’s snapped its six-game losing streak with a 65-54 victory over Holy Cross on Tuesday night.

All of Crosgile’s successful field goals were 3-pointers, and he made 5 of 6 tries.

C.J. Aiken, the Hawks’ only other player to score in double figures, led Saint Joseph’s on defense, blocking five shots.

The Hawks shot only 10 of 17 from the free-throw line, but Holy Cross got only six tries, making three.

Mike Cavataio scored 12 points to lead Holy Cross (1-10), which lost its third in a row.

The Crusaders led by four early in the game before Saint Joseph’s took command for good. Aided by the Crusaders’ 32.1-percent shooting (9 of 28), the Hawks pulled ahead by eight at halftime. They expanded the lead to 17 points on three occasions in the second half.
