FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — Amric Fields scored 26 points Tuesday night to lead TCU to a 99-72 victory over Chicago State.
J.R. Cadot had 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Horned Frogs (9-4). Garlon Green added 16 points and Sammy Yeager 15 as TCU won for the seventh time in eight home games.
TCU fell behind 4-0, then scored the next eight points and led the rest of the way. The Horned Frogs, who shot 57 percent from the field, maintained a double-digit lead from midway through the first half.
Carl Montgomery led all scorers with 30 points for Chicago State (3-13). The Cougars fell to 0-10 on the road this season.
