BEAVERTON, Ore. (AP) — Beaverton Police have arrested a man who witnesses say pointed a gun at children to get them to stop throwing snowballs at cars.

Detectives arrested 22-year-old Alexander Guissepe Lamme for investigation of four counts of misdemeanor menacing on Thursday. Lamme told the officers he was pointing a toy gun when he got out of his car to yell at some kids throwing snowballs.

Witnesses gave police a description of a man they say jumped out of his Land Rover and menaced two boys and their mother with a gun and then got back in his vehicle and drove away.

Lamme was arrested two days later. He is scheduled for a court hearing on Feb. 2.
