PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police say a 22-year-old woman is in custody after her boyfriend’s 3-year-old daughter was stabbed.

Officers say Serenity Sanchez was booked into the Multnomah County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Police had gone to the east Portland home Saturday evening after the report of a disturbance.

Details are sketchy and police say they are still investigating the incident.
