Woman killed in southeast Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Portland police say a woman was stabbed to death Friday morning.

Police responding to a report in southeast Portland found the woman at 4:30 a.m. The woman died from her injuries at a local hospital.

Police have a suspect in custody, saying it’s someone who knew the woman.

No names have been released.
