KABUL (AP) — NATO says two U.S. service members have been killed by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan.

Tuesday’s attack brings to at least 18 the number of Americans killed so far this year.

The deaths underscore the dangers facing U.S. troops as President Barack Obama intensifies efforts to stabilize the country in its ninth year of war.
