High-speed winds have knocked out power to the north in Kitsap and Thurston counties, and south into Oregon’s Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties.

Some residents in those counties are still without power.

Clark County has, thus far, avoided outages. According to the National Weather Service, gusts reached as high as 39 mph overnight, as measured at Pearson Field.

There will be less wind today, with the forecast of sustained breezes at 16 mph and occasional spikes to 22 mph.

Rain is likely.
