Crash kills 1, injures 5 near Forest Grove

FOREST GROVE, Ore. (AP) — A multiple-vehicle crash on Highway 47 south of Forest Grove killed one person and injured five.

Forest Grove Fire & Rescue says the man who died Friday morning was a Good Samaritan hit by a vehicle while trying to help those in the initial collision.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the crash sent three people to hospitals in an ambulance and two others arrived by helicopter.

None of the victims has been identified.
