Vandals cut fiber optic cables to Selah

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — The Yakima County sheriff’s office says vandals cut fiber optic cables that carry phone, TV and Internet service to Selah (SEE’-luh).

The damage was reported early Wednesday by Charter Communications.

Repair crews found two cables cut at the railroad trestle that crosses the Naches River between Yakima and Selah.
