Comcast on Thursday introduced new features to its digital video recorder service for its 600,000 digital cable customers in Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The Anyroom DVR Service allows a customer to view DVR recordings on any networked set-top box in the home, and to finish watching a saved recording in one room that was started in another.

Comcast is also offering free upgrades to myDVR Manager, a new feature that allows customers with a Comcast DVR and high-speed Internet service to remotely schedule and adjust their recordings online using Comcast TV Listings. Customers with an iPhone or iPod Touch can also remotely schedule their DVR recordings using the Comcast Mobile App.
