Ridgefield, Vancouver festivities close roads

Ramp and brief road closures have been scheduled this weekend on state Highway 501 near Ridgefield and on offramps around the Vancouver National Historic Reserve to accommodate Fourth of July celebrations.

State Highway 501 will be closed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday near Ridgefield to accommodate a parade.

On Sunday, several interchange ramps will be closed from 6 p.m. to midnight to accommodate the Independence Day celebration at Fort Vancouver. They are:

• Interstate 5 northbound off-ramp at Mill Plain Boulevard.

• Highway 14 eastbound and westbound offramps at Columbia House Boulevard.

• Highway 14 eastbound off-ramp at Evergreen Boulevard.
