BEND, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a woman was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 97 after driving her vehicle south in the northbound lanes.
Troopers identify her as 48-year-old Laurie Elizabeth Hobson. They said she had address information from both Portland and Sunriver.
The accident happened six miles south of Bend early Saturday.
Troopers say her Dodge Neon collided with an Oldsmobile driven by 28-year-old Aaron Walker of LaPine. He suffered minor injuries. Both drivers were reported wearing safety restraints.
