KELLER, Wash. (AP) — One person has died and another was seriously injured in the crash of a small plane in Washington’s Ferry County.

Colville tribal police say the single-engine Cessna that crashed Tuesday was registered to Fletcher Cattle Co. of Mesa, Wash. The Spokesman-Review says 66-year-old Elwyn Fletcher died at the scene. A second man, 21-year-old Justin Marchand of Colfax, was airlifted to a Spokane hospital where he was reported in serious condition.

The plane was found tangled in power lines alongside State Highway 21.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
