Body found in Columbia River

WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — Wenatchee police are investigating after finding a body floating in the Columbia River.

Wenatchee Sgt. Stephanie Silvestri told KCSY-FM that the body was that of a man. Witnesses discovered the man’s body near the Riverfront Park boat launch Monday night.

She says there doesn’t appear to be any criminal activity surrounding the man’s death.
