ROSEBURG, Ore. (AP) — A Roseburg elementary school teacher has been arrested after police found more than 500 files of child pornography on his home computer.
Police said 28-year-old Steven Kenneth Derlacki was arrested Sunday at his apartment and charged with encouraging the sexual abuse of a child.
Sgt. Aaron Dunbar says they got a tip that Derlacki had child pornography on his home computer, and police went to his apartment, where he gave his consent for a search.
The Roseburg School District says Derlacki has been teaching second- and third grade at Fullerton IV Elementary since August 2006.
