A fire overnight at Salmon Creek Elementary School was isolated to an electrical room, according to a news bulletin issued by Clark County Fire District 6. Sprinklers in the room activated and limited damage.
The fire was reported at 4:12 a.m. Firefighters arrived to find smoke sliding beneath the doors of the electrical building and into the school gym.
There were no injuries reported. A damage estimate was not available.
The school is at 1601 Northeast 129th Street.
