Man on tracks killed by train in Centralia

CENTRALIA, Wash. (AP) — A man has been killed by a freight train at Centralia.

Burlington Northern Santa Fe reported a pedestrian was struck just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.

KITI reports the train stopped and the body was found about half an hour later under at rail car.

Police and BNSF are investigating what the man was doing on the tracks.
