OREGON CITY, Ore. (AP) — A 17-year-old boy who robbed several businesses last fall has been sentenced to 13 years in prison.
Brandon Dixon of Clackamas County admitted Thursday that he robbed two 7-Elevens, a Denny’s restaurant and an adults-only store while armed with a gun or a knife.
Prosecutor Chris Owen says Dixon’s spree was fueled by methamphetamine, and he was caught after boasting about the crimes to friends.
