PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Troutdale police say divers late Friday recovered the body of a 14-year-old boy from the Sandy River.

Andrez Bermudez had last been seen the day before on the river bank. He had gone swimming with his older sister and two friends at Glenn Otto Park.

Troutdale Police Chief Scott Anderson says the river has a strong current and the water is cold.
