ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Baltimore Orioles have recalled right-hander Chris Tillman from Triple-A Norfolk to start against the Texas Rangers.

Tillman takes the mound Saturday night opposite Cliff Lee, who makes his Rangers debut a day after being acquired from Seattle in a six-player trade.

Baltimore optioned infielder Josh Bell to Norfolk.

Missing from Baltimore’s starting lineup were catcher Matt Wieters (right hamstring strain) and left fielder Felix Pie (left quadriceps strain). Both came out of Friday night’s game after getting injured when they slipped running on the rain-slicked field.

The Orioles don’t expect Wieters or Pie to play again until after the All-Star break.
