PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Dan Carcillo to a one-year contract.

The 25-year-old winger had 22 points and 207 penalty minutes in 76 regular-season games for the Eastern Conference champion Flyers last season.

In the playoffs, the 6-foot, 205-pound Carcillo had two goals and two assists as the Flyers advanced to the Stanley Cup finals.

Philadelphia acquired Carcillo in a March 2009 trade with the Phoenix Coyotes. Carcillo was selected in the third round by Pittsburgh in the 2003 draft.

In parts of four seasons with Phoenix and Philadelphia, he has 67 points and 859 penalty minutes in 225 regular-season games.
