ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Members of a Coast Guard helicopter crew killed in a crash off the Washington coast are being honored in the small Alaska town where they were based.

Hundreds attended a memorial service Tuesday in Sitka that paid tribute to 33-year-old Lt. Sean D. Krueger of Seymour, Conn., 40-year-old Adam C. Hoke of Great Falls, Mont. and 33-year-old Brett M. Banks of Rock Springs, Wyo.

The three were killed when the helicopter crashed off La Push, Wash., as they flew home from Astoria, Ore. last week.

Lt. Lance D. Leone of Ventura, Calif., survived the crash.

The Coast Guard has said it will be some time before officials declare a cause of the crash. Witnesses say the aircraft was flying low and hit power lines at James Island.
