DENVER (AP) — Free agent power forward Al Harrington says he’s headed to the Denver Nuggets, who are in dire need of frontcourt help with Kenyon Martin, Chris Andersen and Nene coming off leg injuries.

The former New York Knicks backup tweeted: “I’m taking my Talents to the MILE HIGH.”

ESPN first reported Harrington had chosen Denver over Dallas. The Nuggets didn’t return messages from The AP.

Harrington, a 6-foot-9 forward who averaged 17.7 points and 5.6 rebounds last season, would make about $5.8 million a year with the midlevel exception.
