Hatheer wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Hatheer beat Exchange Funds by 314 lengths Thursday in the $52,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares on the turf at Belmont Park.

Alan Garcia was aboard for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin as Hatheer improved to 2 for 8. The 3-year-old ran the seven furlongs on the yielding course in 1:23.31.

Hatheer paid $9.90, $5.50 and $3.50. Exchange Funds returned $14 and $4.90. Echt paid $4.80 to show.
