SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Police say a car fleeing from an officer at 100 mph ran a red light and collided with two other cars Thursday night at a Spokane intersection.

The officer had ended the pursuit when he came upon the crash. All three drivers and a passenger in the fleeing car were hospitalized and are recovering.

Police say the 43-year-old woman driving the fleeing car was taken from a hospital to jail where she was booked for investigation of vehicle assault. The passenger in her car is wanted on a drug charge.
