DC area shaken by minor earthquake

WASHINGTON (AP) — The DC area has been shaken by a minor earthquake.

The quake hit at 5:04 a.m. EDT Friday and had a magnitude of 3.6.

Randy Baldwin, a physicist with U.S. Geological Survey’s National Earthquake Information Center, says the quake was centered in the Rockville, Md., area.

There were no immediate reports of damage.
