United’s Cristman out 2 to 3 weeks after surgery

WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. United forward Adam Cristman has undergone surgery for a sports hernia and is expected to be sidelined two to three weeks.

United said Monday that Cristman traveled to Munich, Germany, where doctors repaired a tear to his lower abdominal wall.

In his first season with United, Cristman has two goals and one assist in 14 MLS games, including seven starts.
