Vettel fastest in final practice for German GP

HOCKENHEIM, Germany (AP) — Sebastian Vettel of Germany drove the fastest lap in his Red Bull in the final practice for the German Grand Prix.

The Red Bull and Ferrari cars dominated Saturday’s session, with Fernando Alonso of Spain finishing second in his Ferrari. Australian driver Mark Webber was third in the second Red Bull, and Felipe Massa of Brazil was fourth in the second Ferrari.

Vettel clocked 1 minute, 15.103 seconds for the fastest lap on the 2.8-mile Hockenheimring circuit. Alonso was .284 seconds behind, Webber trailed by .605, and Massa was .751 seconds back.
