Boat capsizes, man rescued off Ore. coast

COOS BAY, Ore. (AP) — The Coast Guard says a man whose 16-foot boat capsized about a mile south of the Coos Bay, Ore., south jetty was rescued by another boater.

The Coast Guard responded Wednesday morning after receiving a report of the capsizing.

The Good Samaritan transferred the rescued man to a Coast Guard response boat and he was taken for treatment of hypothermia.

The man was not identified.
