SEATTLE (AP) — Forecasters say cool, wet weather will continue this week in Washington.
After a daytime lull Tuesday, the National Weather Service says a Pacific storm will hit the coast Tuesday night with locally heavy rain, especially in the Olympics. A flood watch has been issued for Wednesday on the Skokomish River.
Forecasters say rain is likely through the week in Western Washington with low temperatures in the 40s and highs near 60.
Forecasters say this week’s rain also will extend across Eastern Washington with lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s.
