Green building company expanding in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle-based McKinstry company plans to expand in Spokane to focus on green building projects in Eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

The Spokesman-Review reports the company, which currently has about 50 employees at a downtown office, plans to add more than 100 jobs and move into a converted railroad shop.

McKinstry provides environmentally friendly building design and management services.
