OR state police: 4-vehicle crash west of Salem

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say a pickup truck swerved after driving into standing water on State Highway 22 west of Salem, triggering a four-car crash on Wednesday afternoon.

Five people who suffered non-life-threatening injuries were taken to a Salem hospital.

The crash occurred in heavy rain.
