SEATTLE (AP) — One man has died and another has been wounded with life-threatening injuries after shots were fired in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood early Sunday.
Police officers patrolling the neighborhood heard several gunshots around 2:45 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived at the spot of where the shots were fired, police found two men lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds.
One was pronounced dead at the scene, the other was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Their ages were not available.
Officers were able to detain several people fleeing from the scene, but no suspects have been identified or arrested.
