PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Classes at Skyline Elementary School resume Monday despite the disappearance of Kyron Horman.

The 7-year-old vanished Friday morning from the school located a few miles from his house.

Though counselors and extra security will be at Skyline, Portland Public Schools spokesman Matt Shelby says the district aims to run as “normal of a day as possible.”

Investigators interviewed nearly 200 of Kyron’s classmates and their parents during a weekend that included a search of the rough terrain around the school.

Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton describes Kyron as a “missing endangered child.”
