AUBURN, Ala. (AP) — Kyle Parker hit a three-run homer and Richie Shaffer had a bases-clearing double to lift Clemson to a 13-7 victory over Auburn on Monday night.

Clemson (41-22) frequently dodged trouble, turning three double plays and stranding 12 Auburn baserunners. Clemson reached a second straight super regional and will face either Georgia Tech or Alabama.

Top-seeded Auburn (43-21) outhit Clemson 18-14 and got solo home runs from Trent Mummey and Casey McElroy.

Clemson’s Kevin Brady pitched three scoreless innings to close it out and leave the bases loaded in the ninth.

Parker hit a three-run homer in the first and was drafted 26th overall by the Colorado Rockies during the late innings. Shaffer’s three-run double in the seventh gave Clemson an 11-7 cushion.
