WASHINGTON (AP) — D.C. United midfielder Brandon Barklage has had season-ending surgery on a torn ACL, while defender Rodney Wallace is out six weeks with a broken leg.

United said Monday that Barklage had reconstruction surgery on his left knee, which was hurt in the exhibition game against AC Milan last month. It is the second time Barklage has torn an ACL since joining the team last year.

Wallace broke his left leg in Saturday’s scoreless draw against Real Salt Lake.
