YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — The Yakima County coroner said Monday the death of 14-month old Toppenish baby was due to natural causes. He stopped breathing because of a heart problem.

Police had arrested the baby’s grandmother after she reported finding the boy dead May 26. Police said living conditions in the home were unfit because the crib was in a modified garage.

The Yakima Herald-Republic reports Child Protective Services is working with the family to make sure two other children in the home are taken care of.
