TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Two espresso stands were robbed Wednesday in Puyallup and Fircrest and authorities think the robber may be responsible for 11 similar holdups in the past two months in Pierce County.

Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer told The News Tribune of Tacoma a weapon was used in most of the robberies and deputies want to stop the man before someone is hurt.

Police are checking surveillance video that may help identify the armed man who climbed through the Fircrest espresso stand window, tied up the barista and stole her car. She was not hurt and the car was found a couple of blocks away where the robber apparently got into another car.
