EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — A sexual battery lawsuit filed by a University of Oregon soccer player against pro soccer player Nate Jaqua has been settled with no exchange of money.

The Register-Guard reported that U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken dismissed the lawsuit by Leigh Quinlan along with a counterclaim by Jaqua on Tuesday after a Monday settlement conference.

Quinlan, now of Victoria, British Columbia, filed a $10 million sexual abuse lawsuit against Jaqua and several major league soccer organizations last June.

She alleged Jaqua sexually assaulted her after both left a bar near campus the night of July 1, 2007.

Quinlan later dropped the soccer organizations from her complaint, but still sought more than $5 million in damages from Jaqua, a former South Eugene High School soccer star now playing for the Seattle Sounders.
