TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — A woman convicted of rendering criminal assistance in the shooting deaths of four Lakewood police officers has been sentenced in Tacoma to five years in prison.

KOMO News reports the Pierce County Superior Court judge turned down the prosecution’s request Thursday for an exceptional 10-year sentence for LaTanya Clemmons.

She’s the sister of Maurice Clemmons who gunned down the officers in November at a Parkland coffee shop.

She paid for a motel room and bus fare for Darcus Allen, the alleged getaway driver.
