MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — A former editor at the Seattle Post-Intelligencer has been named the new managing editor at the Moscow-Pullman Daily News.
Publisher Nathan Alford named 61-year-old Lee Rozen to the post this week.
He takes over for Doug Bauer, who was appointed earlier this year Managing Editor at the Lewiston Tribune.
Rozen started at the Post-Intelligencer in 1996, serving as manager of new media before becoming general manager of the newspaper’s website in 1999. From 2005 to 2009, Rozen worked as the newspaper’s assistant managing editor, overseeing a staff of 42.
He also worked as a reporter and editor at The Columbian, in Vancouver, Wash., and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.
