ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — The Anaheim Ducks have re-signed center Kyle Chipchura to a one-year contract extension.
The deal announced Friday will keep Chipchura with the Ducks through 2011.
Anaheim acquired Chipchura from Montreal for a fourth-round draft pick last December. The 24-year-old finished the season with six goals, six assists and 72 penalty minutes in 74 games with both clubs.
Chipchura was a first-round draft pick by the Canadiens in 2004, but has scored just 10 goals in 123 NHL games.
