DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have placed shortstop Troy Tulowitzki on the 15-day disabled list with a broken left wrist.

The Rockies recalled infielder Chris Nelson from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Friday. Nelson is set to play Friday against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Tulowitzki was injured when he was hit by a pitch from Alex Burnett of the Minnesota Twins in the eighth inning of Thursday’s game at Minnesota.

Tulowitzki was 1 for 2 with an RBI triple in the game.
