YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Two people were killed in a collision with a stolen pickup truck fleeing police in Yakima Sunday during a string of thefts and collisions.

Police finally arrested 30-year-old Shaun Christopher Kollman of Moxee for investigation of vehicular homicide, attempted murder, hit-and-run driving and burglary.

Police say officers began chasing a stolen pickup truck and after it crashed the driver stole another pickup truck from a used car lot and sped off.

There were a total of four crashes. The final one killed a 29-year-old Tieton man and a 41-year-old Yakima woman. Two other people were hospitalized with injuries. Two officers and eight other people involved in crashes were not injured.
