MCMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) — Police say the death of a 60-year-old man in McMinnville was homicide.

Officers conducting a welfare check found the body Saturday of Dennis Ross. He lived alone and neighbors called police after they didn’t see him for a couple of days.

The Oregonian reports the Yamhill County major Crime Response Team and the Oregon State Police Crime Lab are helping with the McMinnville police investigation.
